Transmission distance extension using DoubleReach™
The Ultimate performance PoC DVR’s DoubleReach™ is a new technology for HD-SDI video transmission. This technology compresses Full-HD video to the undistinguishable video level by naked eye, and it extends HD-SDI transmission distance by two times (up to 400m) when it compared with conventional HD-SDI.
HD DVR models which support DoubleReach can receive DoubleReach video for odd channels without additional equipment, and users can easily relocate channels which are displayed on multi-screen. To use this function, camera needs DoubleReach transmitter DR101P-TX, and it can work together with PoC repeater RP101P.
This technology is especially useful when it comes to upgrading existing system. Because DoubleReachTM technology changes the HD-SDI’s video data from 1.5Gb/s to 270Mb/s, old existing cable can be effectively used to transmit HD-SDI signal and, making the users to configure HD video surveillance system with ease.
To use this function, camera side needs DoubleReach™ transmitter of DR101P-TX, and PoC repeater of RP101P can be worked together to extend video transmission distance.
• Supports up to 400m HD-SDI video transmission using 5C-HFBT(RG-6) cable
• It is effective when the existing cable’s performance is low or its length is over 200m

Use of DoubleReach™ Transmitter (DR101P-TX)
• DR101P-TX has built-in PoC, normally it does not need additional power supply.
• But, if the video transmission distance is long, DC24V can be supplied to DR101P-TX separately.
In case of long distance video transmission, additional power input to DoubleReach™ is possible
• You can only use HD-SDI video transmission and camera control function, without camera power supply function as follows.
