8ch HD-SDI DVR supporting PoC/CoC, DoubleReach

8ch, 240fps@HD1080p Recording & Playback performance
HDC801F-PD supports PoC/CoC, DoubleReach functions

One of major leading companies in HD-CCTV market which is based on HD-SDI transmission technology, WEBGATE(www.webgateinc.com) launched the most advanced 8ch HD-SDI DVR, HDC801F-PD which can support 240FPS record & playback of Full-HD video.

This product supports 30FPS monitoring per each channel, and provides lossless Full-HD video, 1200TVL high resolution during playback. Besides, it has lighting arrester for input/ output ports, eSATA port for external storage interface, and supports WEBGATE’s CMS, Control Center which connects up to 1,024 DVRs.

Because HDC801F-PD supports PoC(Power over Coax), DVR can supply necessary power to cameras through coaxial cable, and its CoC(Control over Coax) function supports camera’s OSD menu control, zoom/focus control, firmware upgrade, and one-push auto focus through same coaxial cable. It means that system operator can easily control whole camera functions through DVR or CMS like IP camera. Additionally, this DVR has built-in DoubleReach receiver. DoubleReach is the newest HD-SDI transmission technology, so it extends HD-SDI transmission distance by two times(up to 400m) when it compared with conventional HD-SDI. PoC/CoC functions can work together with C1080P series camera models, and DoubleReach function needs dedicated transmitter DR101P-TX for camera interface.

Currently, WEBGATE is in promotion of Full-Frame HD-SDI DVR, HD1600F-PDR, HDC400F-PD as well as HDC801F-PD. With its own PoC/CoC HD-SDI cameras, converters and various new HD-SDI DVR products, WEBGATE is pioneering a new market in which Full-HD video surveillance is much easier to build than conventional analog CCTV system.

How to Use Various HD-CCTV Converters
HD-SDI, HDMI, CVBS conversions

HD-SDI, HDMI, CVBS video can be converted using diverse HD-CCTV converters. Let’s have a close look at the field’s examples.

Practical use of video and audio output of HD-CCTV DVR

The following [Fig. 1] shows the general usage of DVR video output. If the user connects HD-CCTV DVR output to a monitor with HDMI cable, high-definition video can be displayed on the monitor, as well as audio to speaker.

If the distance between DVR and monitor is more than 10m, the user can use HDMI2SDI and SDI2HDMI converter. By the configuration of [Fig. 2], HD-CCTV DVR’s video/audio can be transmitted up to 150m.

Recording of PC, DVD, Set-top box output by using HD-CCTV DVR

PC, DVD and Set-top box’s HDMI output can be recorded in HD-CCTV DVR. HDMI output can be converted to HD-SDI signal by using HDMI2SDI converter. Below [Fig. 3] shows the practical use of HDMI2SDI converter.

Recording analog videos to HD-CCTV DVR

SD2HD can convert up to 6 CVBS signals to one HD-SDI signal. Like [Fig. 5], up to 6 analog video input signals can be converted into a HD-SDI signal by using SD2HD converter.

Also, SD2HD supports 1/4/6 split screen allowing even one analog camera input.

How to display HD-SDI signal on analog monitor

HD2SD has two functions. One is HD-SDI repeater and the other is to convert HD-SDI signal to CVBS. The user can connect HD-SDI signal to HD-CCTV DVR and can use analog(SD) video output at the same time.
